Carl Rennie is a writer, director, and producer with a love of genre and creating fantastical worlds for grounded,
often forgotten characters. A graduate of the American Film Institute (AFI) Conservatory, his work has been
BAFTA-longlisted and screened at premier festivals including LA Shorts, Dances With Films, and the Beverly Hills
International Film Festival. Carl’s unique trajectory also includes two decades of tech industry leadership at Netflix,
YouTube, and Google.
